Job Title: Commercial HVAC Assistant Project Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Commercial HVAC Assistant Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or construction management, possess hands-on experience in commercial HVAC design, estimating, and project management, and be familiar with industry-standard software tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore. The candidate should have a stable work history and a proven track record of successfully managing large commercial HVAC projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial HVAC projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate project specifications and cost estimates.
  • Conduct project site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Utilize industry-standard software tools, including BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore, to manage project documentation, schedules, and communication.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing valuable insights and solutions to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on safety protocols and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project efficiency and achieve client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC design, estimating, and project management.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software tools, including BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
