Summary

We seek a dedicated and experienced Assistant HVAC Project Manager to join our team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will be local to the region, possess a stable work history, and have extensive experience in mechanical project management, particularly in HVAC and sheet metal projects. This role requires a professional with a solid mechanical engineering or construction management background to oversee large-scale projects effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements.
  • Supervise and manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Proven stable work history.
  • Minimum of five years of mechanical project management experience, specifically in HVAC and sheet metal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial HVAC projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
