Job Title: Assistant Plumbing/HVAC TI Sales/Estimating/Project Manager

Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated Assistant Plumbing/HVAC TI Sales/Estimating/Project Manager for an exciting opportunity in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be local to the area and have a stable work history, with a strong foundation in HVAC or Plumbing project management, including hands-on field experience or relevant educational background.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee HVAC and Plumbing tenant improvement (TI) projects ranging from $100,000 to $1.5 million, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with the sales and estimating team to develop competitive bids using Bluebeam and Microsoft Project software. Provide accurate cost estimates for TI projects.
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project success. Act as the point of contact for project updates, changes, and client expectations.
Work closely with field teams to ensure successful project execution, utilizing your HVAC or Plumbing field experience to solve challenges and improve efficiencies.
Prepare and present progress reports, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of HVAC or Plumbing project management experience, with direct oversight of smaller commercial projects ($1.5 million or less). Field experience in HVAC service or construction is highly preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is strongly desired, but candidates with significant hands-on field experience will also be considered.
Proficiency in Bluebeam Microsoft Project and experience with commercial mechanical project types, such as hospitals, schools, high-rises, and other large-scale facilities.
Experience working with commercial mechanical contractors on various project types, including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and hospitality venues.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Trimble AutoBid.
Experience working on large commercial mechanical projects for notable contractors in the San Diego area.
