Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a local candidate with a stable work history and a strong background in commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, particularly large-scale endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with client objectives.
Help develop comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Support the Project Manager in conducting site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status.
Qualifications
Local to Phoenix, AZ, with a stable work history.
3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management, with exposure to large-scale projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rises.
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems and their application in large projects.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
