Job Summary:
We are seeking a BAS Controls Programmer to join our dynamic team in Orange, CA. This position is designed for individuals with a profound expertise in building automation systems, specifically skilled in programming Tridium controls and proficient with Niagara and Distech platforms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining effective control strategies for various commercial projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize control strategies using Tridium, Niagara, and Distech platforms for building automation systems.
- Integrate building systems and devices to facilitate smooth communication and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in controls programming to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with project teams to meet project specifications and deliver top-notch solutions.
- Keep detailed and organized documentation of programming activities, including code and system configurations.
- Ensure all programming activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning to confirm system functionality and performance meets expectations.
- Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide technical support, and address concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of direct experience in Tridium controls programming.
- Proficiency with Tridium, Niagara, and Distech building automation systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of control programming principles and commercial building system integration.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for both team collaboration and client interactions.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Orange, CA, with a proven track record of stability and excellence in the field.
