Summary
We seek a BAS/Critical Facilities Assistant Project Manager; you will be an essential member of our Critical Facilities team, ensuring the successful design, engineering, and implementation of sophisticated building automation and control systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer control systems hardware and software to meet specific project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Create complex DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, including end-user graphical interfaces tailored to customer needs.
- Oversee project management tasks such as creating job plans, scheduling labor, conducting fiscal analyses, ordering and coordinating project materials, and ensuring assignments are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage the start-up and commissioning processes for building control systems, ensuring accurate and complete documentation, and overseeing technician work plans.
- Interface directly with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
- Engineering undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced understanding and skills in creating control programs, with proven ability to analyze complex information, data, and situations.
- Skilled in the use of AutoCAD and other project-related software.
- Previous experience with building mechanical systems, electronics, basic electrical circuits, and computer programming.
- Exceptional interactive and communication skills, including effectively conveying information to others.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly in building control systems.
- Solid understanding of DDC Theory and Applications.
- Demonstrated stability and consistency in previous work history within the local region.
