Overview
We seek a highly skilled BAS/Critical Facilities Project Manager to join our team in Manassas, VA. This pivotal role is central to the success of our complex projects, focusing on designing, engineering, and programming control systems to meet precise project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of control systems hardware, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Develop and program complex DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and create user-friendly graphical interfaces to meet customer requirements.
- Oversee the start-up and commissioning processes for building control systems, including managing technician work plans and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of project conditions, update drawing sets and software programs, and engineer field changes while keeping as-built documentation up to date.
- Perform essential project management tasks such as job planning, labor scheduling, fiscal analysis, and coordination of project materials.
- Demonstrated stable work history focusing on local projects.
- Advanced understanding and skills in creating control programs, with knowledge of DDC theory and applications.
- Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with solid computer programming experience.
- In-depth experience with building mechanical systems, electronics, and basic electrical circuits.
- Skilled in using AutoCAD and other project-related software, with a proven ability to analyze complex information and troubleshoot effectively.
- Proven skills in analyzing complex data and situations to derive practical solutions.
- Exceptional interactive and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete assignments on time and within budget.
- Experience in developing and conducting site-specific owner training and coordinating foreign protocol integration.
