Job Summary
We seek an experienced building automation controls technician with expertise in Tritium, Niagara, and Siemens systems. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history with reputable commercial control contractors. This role requires hands-on experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission building automation systems (BAS) using Tridium, Niagara, and Siemens platforms.
Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
Regular maintenance and updates to existing BAS are conducted to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
Document all work performed, including system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in building automation controls, focusing on tritium, Niagara, and Siemens systems.
Stable work history with recognized commercial control contractors
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with BAS.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Local to the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with other BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Distech, and Medesis.
Experience with networking and IT systems as they relate to BAS.
Relevant certifications in building automation systems or related fields.
