Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, specifically in the service, maintenance, and repair of various types of chillers including centrifugal, air, water, screw, and magnetic chillers. The Chiller Mechanic / HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair work of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, particularly chillers.

Performing routine preventive maintenance and service for HVAC systems.

Installing new HVAC systems, including chillers, as per specifications and safety guidelines.

Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of chillers and other HVAC equipment.

Completing teardown and repair work on various types of chillers.

Keeping accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in the service, maintenance, and teardown/repair of various types of chillers such as centrifugal, air, water, screw, and magnetic chillers.

EPA Certification is required.

Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, procedures, and safety measures.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have a stable work history and be local to the Los Angeles, CA area.
