The ideal candidate will have a local, stable work history and bring over five years of hands-on experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various types of chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal units. In addition to chiller expertise, this role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing large rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.

In addition to chiller expertise, this role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing large rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
Responsibilities
- Chiller Maintenance & Repair: Perform thorough maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal chillers.
- Large RTU Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair large rooftop units (RTUs) weighing 20 to 200+ tons, ensuring system efficiency.
- Boiler & Mechanical System Repair: Conduct service and repair tasks on commercial boilers and other major HVAC mechanical equipment.
- VRF Systems Expertise: Diagnose and repair Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems as part of comprehensive HVAC service.
- Manufacturer Training Application: Apply knowledge from manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Trane, Carrier, York, Mitsubishi, etc.) to provide high-quality service.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards in all job functions.
- Documentation & Client Communication: Maintain accurate service records, provide detailed reports, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chiller service, repair, and teardown.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing large RTUs (20-200+ tons), boilers, VRF systems, and other complex HVAC systems.
- Manufacturer training and certifications (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.) are highly preferred.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be a local candidate with a stable work history.
