Job Title: Commercial Fence Estimator

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Fence Estimator to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial fence estimating. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for fencing projects based on drawings, specifications, site visits, and other provided information.
- Develop relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive pricing and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve any potential issues.
- Prepare and present estimates and cost plans to clients or other stakeholders as needed.
- Perform a comprehensive "take off" of materials and labor needed for projects.
- Work with project management staff to ensure smooth transitions from estimating to project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in order to maintain competitiveness and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, specifically with commercial fencing projects.
- Solid understanding of fencing materials, installation methods, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Proven track record of producing successful estimates that lead to profitable projects.
- Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for site visits.
- Must reside in the Dallas, TX area.
Education:
High school diploma required. A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
