Commercial Fence Estimator-Sales-Project Manager

Overview

Commercial Fence Estimator Sales Project Manager has to oversee one or multiple projects and manage project budgets, costs, change orders, RFI’s, and billing. Develop and maintain relationships with all contacts, vendors, subcontractors, and owners. Ensure projects are at or ahead of deadlines, completed on time safely, and under budget.
Responsible for managing and maintaining a schedule, budget, and submitting change orders and RFI’s for current and upcoming projects to enhance the effectiveness of the project’s
 
Responsibilities
 
Manage to price of materials with vendors and try to get the best pricing possible for the materials.
Accurately create profitable Estimates for all types of construction projects
Review and approve final estimates for upcoming projects
Attain revenue and profitable goals each quarter on all projects.
Coordinate and get pricing of materials from vendors to ensure execution supports compliance with established criteria and specifications of the project.
Meet with Owners,sub-contractors and communicate with Foreman, Journeyman, QA, and Helpers in the field.
Manage multiple commercial fence project takeoffs, pre-bid meetings, pricing, and submittals
Breakdown bid documents for estimating purposes
Prepare cost estimates by analyzing project plans and specifications
Ability to oversee one or multiple projects and manage project budgets, costs, change orders, RFI’s, and billing.
 
Requirements
 
5+ years of Commercial Fence Sales or Estimating experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction or any other related field 
Experience in working in small or mid-sized commercial construction projects: 5 million or less.
Experience in evaluating contract changes for estimating contract impact
Experience in evaluating contract changes for estimating cost impact and measured estimate vs. actual performance evaluations
Knowledge of Bluebeam and/or CAD or other related take-off and design software
