We are a growing HVAC company based in Riverside, CA, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal installation, showcasing a proven track record of delivering quality work. This position requires leadership capabilities and hands-on expertise to ensure our projects are executed with precision, safety, and customer satisfaction in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of HVAC technicians and installers on commercial projects.
Plan, execute, and oversee the installation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, ensuring projects are completed on time and met the highest quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any installation challenges or issues on-site.
Ensure all installations adhere to local building codes and regulations.
Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring tools and materials are available for each job.
Promote and ensure safety at all times, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain open communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Continuously update skills and knowledge, attending trainings and workshops as necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on HVAC and sheet metal installation experience, specifically in commercial settings.
Local to Riverside, CA, or willing to relocate.
Demonstrated stable work history.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC installations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and being on feet for extended periods.
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Certification or licensure in HVAC installation or related field is a plus.
