Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and local Commercial HVAC Service and Start-Up Technician to join our team in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with expertise in servicing large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, variable refrigerant flow systems (VRFs), a stable work history, and possession of an EPA Universal certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, service, and repair on various commercial HVAC systems, specializing in large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Perform start-up and commissioning procedures to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective solutions and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute service and maintenance schedules.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service and repair activities.
- Maintain detailed records of service work performed and parts used.
- Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Local residency in Portland, OR.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service, with a focus on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Stable work history, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- EPA Universal certification.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
