Summary
We seek a highly experienced and dynamic Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead our service team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of HVAC service experience, a deep understanding of large applied equipment, and a proven track record of managing technician teams and office staff.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Oversee medium to large commercial HVAC service technician teams and office staff.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members, including dispatch coordinators.
- Ensure effective team collaboration and communication.
Technical Expertise:
- To support service operations, utilize extensive knowledge of large tonnage package units, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Operational Management:
- Manage profit and revenue targets, ensuring the financial health of the service department.
- Oversee safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
- Assisted in account management and maintained strong relationships with key clients.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze service data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of HVAC service experience.
- Strong familiarity with large applied equipment, including large tonnage package units, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Proven experience overseeing medium to large HVAC commercial service technician teams and office staff.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage profit, revenue, and safety effectively.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff.
