Job Description:
The Commercial HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial settings. This includes large RTUs (Roof Top Units), split systems, VRFs (Variable Refrigerant Flow), boilers, and chillers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC service and repair, possess an EPA certification, and have a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, VRFs, boilers, and chillers in commercial buildings.
- Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Regularly communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or queries they may have.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and practices.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements, repairs, or replacements as necessary.
- Document services performed and report any issues identified for future follow-up.
Qualifications:
- EPA Certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, VRFs, boilers, and chillers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have a stable work history and be local to the Los Angeles, CA area.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
