Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and local Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Palm Springs, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, possess EPA universal certification, maintain a clean driving record, and bring a wealth of experience in diagnosing and repairing large Rooftop Units (RTUs) ranging from 20 to 200+ tons, chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other substantial mechanical equipment. Preference will be given to candidates with manufacturer training and certifications from industry leaders such as Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Repair: Utilize 5+ years of experience to diagnose and repair a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including large RTUs (20-200+ tons), chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other significant mechanical equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems.
- EPA Universal Certification: Adhere to environmental regulations and safety standards, holding EPA universal certification.
- Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record while efficiently traveling to various job sites.
- Manufacturer Training: Apply knowledge gained from manufacturer training and certifications, particularly from industry leaders like Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and others.
- Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing large RTUs (20-200+ tons), chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other significant mechanical equipment.
- EPA Universal Certification
- Clean driving record.
- Manufacturer training and certifications from industry leaders such as Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and others are preferred.
