Job Summary
We seek a skilled Controls Sales Engineer to grow our Building Automation business in Eugene and the surrounding areas. You will leverage your expertise in building automation systems, HVAC, lighting, and energy solutions to build client relationships and expand your market presence. This role focuses on consultative sales and delivering customized automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients using consultative sales techniques.
- Identify new business opportunities to grow Eugene, Portland, Bend, and SW Washington markets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose tailored automation solutions.
- Develop sales proposals and refine strategies to meet business objectives.
- Participate in local industry events and educational sessions (BOMA, IFMA, ASHRAE).
- 5+ years in building automation sales (B2B).
- Expertise in building automation systems like BACnet, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
- Experience with large-scale projects and system integration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Local and stable work history in Eugene or surrounding areas.
