Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Controls Service Technician to join our team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in building automation controls, as well as familiarity with the installation, service, startup, and programming of building automation systems in commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools, airports, universities, and labs. We prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, as well as Tridium, Niagara, or N4 certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair building automation systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
- Program and commission building automation systems
- Provide technical support to customers
- Train and mentor new technicians
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in building automation controls
- Familiarity with the installation, service, startup, and programming of building automation systems in commercial buildings
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
- Tridium, Niagara, or N4 certifications (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
