Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Service Technician to join our team in Riverside, CA. This role is ideal for someone who is local and boasts a stable work history along with a deep understanding of building automation controls systems, specifically for HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
Perform service, repair, startup, and commissioning of building automation controls systems.
Conduct point-to-point checkouts of HVAC control systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with BACnet, DDC controls, ALC, Alerton, Tritium, Niagara, and DISTECH systems.
Ensure all systems and components meet established standards and any applicable regulations.
Collaborate with team members to enhance system performance and provide feedback on project statuses.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and diagnostic activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in building automation controls service, focusing on HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Proficiency with various control systems, including BACnet, DDC, ALC, Alerton, Tridium, Niagara, and DISTECH.
Demonstrated history of stability in previous employment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be based locally within Riverside, CA or willing to relocate.
