Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an accomplished and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC industry. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience overseeing operations, including service, projects, and managing both field and office staff. The candidate should have a proven track record in a leadership role overseeing a mechanical company with revenues between $100 million and $1 billion, with a minimum of 5 years of P&L and profitability experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of operations, including service, projects, field operations, and office staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to clients.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial performance, including P&L management, profitability analysis, and budget adherence.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring professional development and succession planning.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC industry.
- Proven track record in a leadership role overseeing a mechanical company with revenues between $100 million and $1 billion.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in operations, including service, projects, and managing field and office staff.
