Position: Director of Engineering

Location: San Jose, CA

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of design engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes professional development and achievement.
  2. Project Oversight: Oversee all phases of engineering design projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects meet client expectations, budgetary constraints, and timeframe targets.
  3. Advanced Design-Build Expertise: Leverage extensive experience in advanced design-build commercial projects to drive innovation and excellence in all undertakings.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment of engineering goals with overall project objectives.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement modern engineering techniques, tools, and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry innovations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Proven experience in advanced design-build commercial projects.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and managing a team of design engineers.
  • Proficiency in using Revit.
  • Diverse project experience, including but not limited to hospitals, stadiums, and other major commercial structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or further educational accomplishments in a relevant field.
  • Strong network in the San Jose engineering and construction community.
