We seek an experienced Field Estimation & Sales Manager specializing in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in the mechanical trades, including HVAC, plumbing, pipe fitting, or sheet metal, combined with solid sales and estimation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Perform detailed job walks, develop accurate estimates for commercial HVAC projects, and manage plan and spec bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, labor teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Build comprehensive proposals that meet client needs while aligning with company capabilities and resource availability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC sector, leveraging existing client relationships and market knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years in HVAC, plumbing, pipe fitting, or sheet metal roles with strong technical knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred, but an optional equivalent field experience is required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong skills in coordinating labor and resources.
- Strong track record of generating proposals, closing deals, and building lasting client relationships.
- Preference for candidates with a stable work history and strong ties to the Phoenix, AZ region.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard estimation tools.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Bacnet, Schneider Electric) is a plus.
