Job Summary
The HVAC Assistant Project Manager role offers a unique opportunity to support the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management or mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in sheet metal and ductwork installation. This role requires strong project estimation, scheduling, and customer relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish.
Prepare project estimates, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Maintain effective communication with clients to manage their expectations and address their needs.
Assist in preparing and presenting project reports and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Alternatively, I have hands-on field experience in sheet metal and ductwork installation in commercial buildings.
Proven experience in project estimation and scheduling.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
