Job Title: Commercial HVAC Design Engineer

Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Commercial HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in HVAC system design and a strong command of AutoCAD and Revit. A BSME is required, and EIT or PE license is strongly preferred. This role requires a stable work history in the local area and a commitment to deliver quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems for commercial applications.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed and accurate HVAC design plans.
- Develop, design, and evaluate mechanical components and systems.
- Analyze HVAC systems for efficiency improvements and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with team members, architects, and other engineering disciplines for project completion.
- Review, interpret, and use architectural, structural, and mechanical plans.
- Manage project deliverables to stay on time and within budget.
- Ensure all HVAC designs adhere to the guidelines and safety standards of local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in job site visits to ensure designs are being implemented correctly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues that arise during construction.
- Stay current with the latest technological advancements in the HVAC industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
- EIT or PE license is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in commercial HVAC design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of HVAC design, installation, and system operations.
- Knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Stable work history in the local area.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license.
