Overview:
Seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead our team in the fabrication and installation of ductwork and air distribution systems for various commercial construction projects. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of guiding a team through complex installations with precision and adherence to project specifications and codes. The ideal candidate will ensure quality workmanship, on-time project completion, and compliance with all safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the sheet metal crew, ensuring efficient and quality installation of HVAC ductwork and related systems.
Coordinate and supervise all sheet metal fabrication and installation activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
Manage project resources effectively, including materials and personnel, to meet project milestones.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and standards, utilizing proper equipment and safety measures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, with further education in HVAC Technologies, construction management, or engineering technology preferred.
Minimum of two years in a supervisory role within the HVAC or sheet metal field.
At least three years of journey-level experience in sheet metal work, preferably within commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction environments.
Strong leadership and computer literacy skills.
CPR/First Aid & OSHA-30 Certifications required; additional training in EM-385 & STS can be provided.
