HVAC/Plumbing Design-Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and calculate new and pre-existing mechanical systems in commercial buildings, including HVAC (wet/dry) and plumbing/piping, among other mechanical systems (including ductwork, refrigeration, and controls).
Create executable conceptual designs, engineering calculations, energy analysis, sections/equipment layouts.
Complete site surveys, document management, and assist with scheduling
Attend estimating, preconstruction, BIM coordination, and site visit meetings.
Coordinate with architects, engineering, and construction teams involved with the project
Review specs and shop drawings 
Work hands-on daily with CAD, Revit, and other design, engineering, and load calculation software

Requirements

Three or more years of HVAC and plumbing mechanical design and engineering experience
Bachelors or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Advanced AutoCAD & Revit knowledge. 
Local and stable work history

Preferred

PE License
Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Glue, BlueBeam, eQuest, etc.
LEED accreditation
