Job Summary
We seek an experienced and dedicated HVAC/Sheet Metal Superintendent to join our team in Riverside, CA. This role is essential for overseeing HVAC and sheet metal system installation and maintenance in commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, be local to the area, and have extensive experience working with medium—to large commercial mechanical contractors.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise HVAC and sheet metal installation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage and mentor a team of installers and foremen, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal installation, and related technologies to solve complex problems and optimize project outcomes.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
A minimum of eight years of experience with medium or large commercial mechanical contractors, progressing from installer to foreman to superintendent.
Demonstrated stability in previous roles, with a preference for candidates based in Riverside, CA.
Proficient in HVAC systems, sheet metal work, and associated building automation systems.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Familiarity with commercial mechanical construction practices, including non-union environments.
