We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Equipment Lead Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a lead sales engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our business operations and maintaining client relationships. You must have extensive knowledge of HVAC engineering, specification, estimating, and sales experience. A successful candidate will have a stable work history and be a resident of Orange County, CA. Responsibilities:

  1. Train, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
  2. Work closely with sales engineers to review project bids, scope of work, and ensure client requirements are being met.
  3. Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  4. Leverage your HVAC engineering and sales experience to drive sales efforts and achieve business targets.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver on-time, under-budget, and above-specification results.
  6. Actively contribute to bid processes, including estimating costs and preparing detailed, competitive proposals.
  7. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of HVAC systems and equipment to ensure our company is at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a closely related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in HVAC engineering, specification, estimating, and sales.
  3. Proven track record of managing and training engineering teams.
  4. Proficiency in HVAC design and specification software tools.
  5. Exceptional ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a team.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Must be a resident of Orange County, CA.
