Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician in Los Angeles, CA, to join our team of dedicated professionals in the commercial mechanical HVAC sector. In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and servicing large-scale HVAC systems across diverse commercial projects. Your technical expertise will ensure optimal performance of complex systems while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on high-capacity HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, VRF systems, package units, and split systems.
Utilize your technical skills to identify, assess, and resolve system issues, ensuring efficient, reliable HVAC operations for various commercial clients.
Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system status, recommended repairs, and maintenance strategies to enhance HVAC performance.
Ensure all work complies with local and federal safety regulations, maintaining an active EPA Universal certification.
Qualifications
Demonstrated stability in the Los Angeles area, with a solid track record in commercial HVAC service.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with large tonnage HVAC systems such as package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Essential for travel to various job sites throughout Los Angeles and nearby areas.
EPA Universal Certification is required.
