Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or equivalent hands-on field experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal on commercial projects. This role involves overseeing multiple active projects, utilizing estimating and scheduling software, and ensuring coordination with field and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 5 to 10 active commercial projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Utilize estimating and scheduling software to develop accurate project timelines and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure seamless project execution, promptly addressing issues.
  • Work closely with fabrication teams to ensure all components meet project specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Engage directly with clients, particularly on mission-critical data center projects, to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Participate in visual design and construction planning to optimize project outcomes.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Demonstrated stability and reliability in previous roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on field experience is also acceptable.
  • Strong proficiency in estimating and scheduling software.
  • Extensive experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal on commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active jobs effectively.
  • Excellent coordination skills with field and fabrication teams.
  • Experience working hands-on with customers, especially on mission-critical data center projects.
