Summary
We seek a highly skilled MEP BIM/VDC Director in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and hands-on field experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, or sheet metal. This role demands proficiency in various 3D modeling software and extensive experience in large commercial projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BIM/VDC team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Oversee the development and implementation of BIM processes and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate BIM workflows into project plans.
- Ensure accurate and efficient 3D modeling using software such as Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, Revisto, Sysque, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Glue.
- Coordinate BIM activities for large commercial projects, including data centers, chip manufacturing plants, hospitals, schools, airports, arenas, high-rises, hotels, and mixed-use buildings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a BIM/VDC Manager or similar role.
- Hands-on field experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, or sheet metal.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, including Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, Revisto, SysQue, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Glue.
- Extensive experience in large commercial projects.
- Local candidate with a stable work history.
