Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Preconstruction Engineer. We're looking for a creative, diligent engineer with a passion for preconstruction phases and a talent for collaboration. Your role involves working closely with sales, design teams, and clients, focusing on plumbing and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project estimates and proposals in collaboration with sales and design teams.
- Conduct engineering calculations and design layouts for plumbing and HVAC systems, following industry standards.
- Assess project feasibility and offer cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical support during sales and preconstruction phases.
- Review mechanical plans and specifications for quality and compliance.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors, managing project communication.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
- Enhance preconstruction processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
- 2+ years in commercial plumbing and HVAC design/engineering.
- Experience with large, complex projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and similar software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team player, capable of independent work.
- Based in or near Orange County, CA.
