Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering phase of plumbing and HVAC projects for commercial properties.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure smooth project progression.
- Utilize Revit for design, modeling, and project simulations, ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery.
- Employ HAP software for HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.
- Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Perform system design calculations, equipment selections, and layout preparations.
- Work in compliance with local, state, and industry-specific codes and standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve project deliverables continually.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Must be locally based in Orange, CA.
- Demonstrates a stable work history.
- Holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a higher degree.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC engineering.
- Proficient in using Revit and HAP software for design and analysis tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
