Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled HVAC/Plumbing Project Engineer with extensive experience in commercial mechanical construction to join our dynamic team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate is a local professional with a stable work history who brings expertise in managing complex HVAC and plumbing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Led and oversee the execution of HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed Gantt charts and project schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare accurate estimates and manage change orders, ensuring all financial aspects of the project are tracked and reported effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage projects across various sectors, including pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and large-scale arenas.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing.
- Proficiency in creating Gantt charts, project scheduling, and estimating change orders.
- Demonstrated stable work history with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the Orange County area.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas.
