We're seeking an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial mechanical projects throughout the Sacramento region. In this role, you'll manage every aspect of project delivery—from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle HVAC and plumbing projects across commercial and institutional developments.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources while identifying and resolving project challenges.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and code compliance.
Lead project meetings, track milestones, and maintain thorough project documentation.
Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and MS Project for project planning and reporting.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience managing HVAC and plumbing projects in commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal.
Proficiency with construction tech: Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Navisworks.
Based in the Sacramento area (or willing to relocate for a long-term opportunity).
Nice to Have
LEED or sustainability experience.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Experience working with local building departments and permitting processes.
