Job Summary
The Plumbing Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of plumbing installations and maintenance on large commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in non-union environments, specifically with companies like TD Industries or Comfort Systems. The candidate should have a stable work history, be local to the Phoenix area, and have progressed from hands-on plumbing work to a supervisory role such as a supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of plumbing projects, including planning, installation, and final inspections.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of plumbers and foremen to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to guide and direct the team.
Monitor project progress, manage resources, and resolve any issues that arise to keep projects on track.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to support project success.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing, with at least three years in a supervisory role such as foreman or superintendent.
Extensive experience working in non-union environments, preferably with companies like TD Industries or Comfort Systems.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Solid understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
