Job Title: Plumbing Superintendent

Job Summary
The Plumbing Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of plumbing installations and maintenance on large commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in non-union environments, specifically with companies like TD Industries or Comfort Systems. The candidate should have a stable work history, be local to the Phoenix area, and have progressed from hands-on plumbing work to a supervisory role such as a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of plumbing projects, including planning, installation, and final inspections.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of plumbers and foremen to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to guide and direct the team.
  • Monitor project progress, manage resources, and resolve any issues that arise to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to support project success.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing, with at least three years in a supervisory role such as foreman or superintendent.
  • Extensive experience working in non-union environments, preferably with companies like TD Industries or Comfort Systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Local to the Phoenix area with a stable and verifiable work history.
