Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and technically skilled SCADA/PLC Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Reno, NV. This role is essential in supporting the execution of automation projects within various industries, working closely with engineering teams, and ensuring client specifications are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and project management, offering dynamic solutions for our diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to review and implement customer requirement specifications for automation systems.
  • Lead the technical direction for electrical equipment design and PLC/SCADA programming to meet customer needs.
  • Assist in the commissioning, debugging, and validating of equipment at client facilities, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Support HMI application development, software debugging, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth integration with customer systems.
  • Manage on-site installation and service activities, ensuring all project milestones are met efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI application development.
  • Experience with SQL query scripting, Python, and FT View SE Distributed.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Local and stable work history with a proven reliability and commitment track record.
  • Ability to travel to client sites for installations and provide hands-on technical support.
