Job Overview: Our company, a leader in the HVAC and plumbing industry, is looking to hire a Senior Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager for our San Diego operations. We seek someone with at least 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management, ideally with exposure to large-scale projects such as hospital environments. Proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel is required, along with familiarity with OSHPD and HCAI regulations. This role demands strong leadership skills for effective project oversight and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, specializing in hospital settings, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Excel for project documentation, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure comprehensive understanding and compliance.
- Manage budgets and schedules, adapting to project demands to maintain timelines and financial targets.
- Coordinate material and equipment procurement, aligning with project schedules and requirements.
- Ensure all projects comply with OSHPD, HCAI, and other relevant safety and health regulations.
- Facilitate project meetings, offering clear updates to all stakeholders on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success and future opportunities.
- Provide mentorship to junior project managers and team members, promoting growth and development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management, with significant involvement in hospital projects.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHPD and HCAI requirements.
- High proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel for project management and documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Local to San Diego, CA, or willing to relocate, with a stable and committed professional background.
