Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager to oversee large-scale mechanical projects in the San Jose area. The ideal candidate will be local, have a stable work history, and have a solid mechanical project management, HVAC, and sheet metal background.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage HVAC and sheet metal projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Local to the San Jose/Bay Area.
Stable work history with a proven track record in mechanical project management.
Minimum of five years of experience in managing HVAC and sheet metal projects.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal work, and mechanical project management principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
