Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior HVACR Start-Up/Service Technician to handle the start-up, commissioning, and service of large-tonnage applied HVACR systems. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a stable work history and extensive experience working with various HVACR equipment, including, but not limited to, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, split systems, and large package units.

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior HVACR Start-Up/Service Technician to handle the start-up, commissioning, and service of large-tonnage applied HVACR systems. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a stable work history and extensive experience working with various HVACR equipment, including, but not limited to, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, split systems, and large package units.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform start-up and commissioning of HVACR systems, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and within design parameters.
- Diagnosed and troubleshot mechanical and electrical problems with HVACR equipment.
- Provide scheduled and emergency maintenance services on various commercial HVACR systems, including chillers, boilers, VRF systems, split systems, and large package units.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment logs.
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians as needed.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HVACR service, with specific expertise in start-up and commissioning large tonnage applied HVAC systems.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with electrical, mechanical, and control systems related to HVACR equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
