We are currently looking for a local, experienced, and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems design.

Job Description:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your role will be to lead and manage design projects from conception through to completion. Your proficiency in HVAC and plumbing systems, coupled with your leadership skills, will ensure we continue to provide top-tier engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the design and implementation of HVAC and plumbing systems for various commercial projects.
  2. Develop and review engineering plans and specifications, using AutoCAD and Revit.
  3. Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.
  4. Supervise construction phases to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  5. Conduct system analysis, propose improvements, and prepare detailed reports.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
  7. Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, promoting professional development within the team.
  8. Maintain client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering future project opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  3. Minimum of 8 years of commercial engineering experience, specifically in HVAC and plumbing design.
  4. Proficiency in designing with AutoCAD and Revit.
  5. Proven experience in project management.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  7. Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  8. Must have a stable work history.
