Summary: We are on the lookout for a Chiller Systems Technician in Phoenix, specializing in the maintenance and repair of various types of chillers, including centrifugal, magnetic, water-cooled, air-cooled, and screw chillers. Ideal candidates will be local professionals with a stable work history and at least three years of experience in chiller operations, seeking a dynamic role in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of centrifugal, magnetic, water-cooled, air-cooled, and screw chillers.
  • Diagnose operational problems and make on-site repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Regularly monitor the performance of chiller systems, making adjustments to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs.
  • Educate clients and onsite staff on basic chiller maintenance and operation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and regulations related to chiller systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various chiller systems.
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical components of chiller units.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair issues promptly.
  • Proven record of reliability and responsibility from previous employment, preferably in similar non-union environments.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • EPA Certification or other relevant HVAC certifications are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to participate in emergency service rotation and respond to calls outside of normal working hours as needed.
