Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Phoenix. This role is perfect for a local professional with a solid and stable work history, and at least three years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various HVAC systems including large tonnage units, package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems. Our ideal candidate has a background in non-union environments but those with union experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of large tonnage HVAC systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet all regulatory standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding service schedules and system status.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and reports, documenting all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and safety regulations to ensure best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as an HVAC technician, specifically with large HVAC systems.
  • Proven track record of reliability and a stable work history.
  • Knowledgeable in the setup and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • EPA Certification preferred; other HVAC certifications are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
