Summary: We are seeking a dynamic HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman with extensive experience in HVAC and sheet metal projects, ideally gained in non-union settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid local and stable work history and demonstrate progression from hands-on technical roles to supervisory positions. This role is essential for directing our HVAC and sheet metal operations, ensuring project excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all stages of HVAC and sheet metal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to superior quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of HVAC technicians and sheet metal workers.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Conduct detailed site inspections and monitor project progress to proactively address and resolve potential issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to optimize project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project operations, team performance, and key milestones.
  • Foster a safety-first culture within the team, emphasizing continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in HVAC and sheet metal work, including significant leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Experience working in non-union environments, comparable to companies like TD Industries or Comfort Systems.
  • Expertise in managing complex HVAC and sheet metal installations and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to handle local travel as needed.
  • Local candidate preferred, with a proven, stable work history reflecting long-term commitments.
