Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Plumbing Superintendent with a robust background in non-union environments, ideally with experience similar to that at organizations like TD Industries or Comfort Systems. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable local and stable work history, progressing from hands-on plumbing roles to a leadership position as a foreman. This role is crucial in overseeing our plumbing projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of plumbers and subcontractors, providing guidance and leadership in all aspects of the plumbing installation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and review project progress to anticipate and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to streamline project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, employee performance, and project milestones.
  • Foster a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a plumbing environment, ideally in non-union settings akin to TD Industries or Comfort Systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in plumbing, with a career progression from technician to foreman.
  • Familiarity with medical gas systems and other specialized plumbing systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Must be a local candidate with a stable work history, evidencing long-term commitments to previous employers.
