Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Assistant Project Manager

Position Summary: The Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Assistant Project Manager will complement our project management team, ensuring the meticulous execution of medium to large commercial mechanical ventures from conception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee all facets of medium to large HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and budgets are adhered to.
  2. Leverage advanced estimating and scheduling software to provide precise project forecasts and guarantee timely deliverables.
  3. Analyze project plans and specifications with tools such as Bluebeam to ensure stringent adherence to requirements, quality, and precision.
  4. Facilitate effective communication between internal departments, subcontractors, clients, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  5. Regularly attend project meetings, offering insightful updates and championing the alignment of all parties with project directives.
  6. Uphold the highest safety and regulatory compliance standards within all HVAC and plumbing operations.
  7. Serve as the primary contact for on-site queries and concerns, ensuring rapid resolution and seamless project continuity.
  8. Oversee and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all pertinent details, amendments, and updates are accurately captured.
  9. Scrutinize project financials, guaranteeing optimal cost management and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC project management.
  • Demonstrable experience managing medium to large commercial mechanical projects, particularly in schools, labs, data centers, and hospitals.
  • Advanced proficiency in estimating and scheduling software.
  • Acquaintance with Bluebeam and other pertinent industry software and tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving prowess.
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
