Job Description:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Building Automation Controls Design Engineer/Programmer to join our dynamic Orange County, CA team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating innovative building automation solutions and who deeply understands the technical aspects of BAS design, engineering, and programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer building automation systems (BAS) for various projects.
- Program and configure BAS to optimize building operations and energy efficiency.
- Develop and maintain system documentation using CAD and Visio.
- Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of BAS.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in building automation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of experience in BAS design, engineering, and programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD and Visio.
- N4 certification (e.g., Niagara 4) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Orange County, CA.
