Job Title: Building Automation Controls Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing building automation systems in commercial buildings. This position requires an individual with exceptional technical skills and a strong understanding of building automation systems and controls.
- Install, maintain, and repair building automation systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Respond to emergency service calls as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance on control systems and components.
- Program and configure controllers as per customer requirements or project specifications.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, and replacements.
- Educate customers on the operation and functionality of their control systems.
- Comply with all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare and submit service reports and documentation.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and parts.
- Stay updated with the latest knowledge and trends in building automation systems and controls.
- Associate Degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building automation controls.
- Proficiency with automation systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and reading schematic diagrams.
- Working knowledge of major building automation systems such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Honeywell is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with programming and configuring controllers.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
