Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial accounting functions for commercial construction projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including project cost tracking, budget analysis, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with project managers and executives to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning for construction projects.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
- Lead the accounting team, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- CPA qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience in a medium to large commercial construction company.
- Proven experience in financial management for construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
